That’s okay. You don’t need to have it all figured out. Sometimes just showing up is the most important first step — and your therapist will guide you from there.

We are an out-of-network provider, which means we don’t bill insurance directly. However, many of our clients receive partial reimbursement from their insurance companies for our services. You will have access to our client online portal to download bills at anytime to submit to your insurance. We are also able to submit monthly claims to your insurance as a courtesy.
While we are not in-network with insurance companies, many clients are still able to use their benefits toward our services. You can check your coverage in less than a minute below.

Here’s how it works:
When you pay for sessions out of pocket, we provide a monthly “superbill” (an itemized receipt) that you can submit to your insurance company for potential reimbursement. Depending on your plan, you may get back a portion of the session fee — sometimes as much as 50–80%.
If you’re not sure what your out-of-network benefits are, you can easily check them using our Mentaya link below. Mentaya securely connects with your insurance to tell you:
Whether you have out-of-network mental health benefits
What percentage your plan will reimburse
How much you might get back per session
Your deductible and any requirements
How out of network reimbursement works:
You pay your therapist’s session fee up front at the time of each session.
Your therapist provides a superbill (a detailed receipt) that you can submit to your insurance company.
The amount you pay contributes toward your out-of-network deductible.
Once that deductible is met, your insurance company will begin reimbursing you directly for a portion of each session cost.
Reimbursement usually arrives as a check in the mail (or direct deposit, depending on your plan) and typically takes 1–4 weeks after each claim is submitted.
